How do these devices access the server?
Our m2m devices include a web server for your use in setting up and configuring the device. But they also include a web client. The HTTP client uses standard HTTP Get requests with parameter strings to pass data to the server. Our m2m devices support use of DHCP. You can plug them into any network with Internet access without special router configuration or opening of ports. If your PC can find Google on the same connection, our m2m device will find LogMyData.Com.
