LogMyData.Com is a Device ISP resource created to support the Internet connectivity of “things”. The majority of the ISP’s currently in existence are geared for people surfing sites like eBay and Google. Machine to machine communication for remote monitoring is typically limited to private intranets and specialized applications. The goal of LogMyData.Com is to bring broader access to the Internet connectivity of "things".

The mission of LogMyData.Com is to bring together Device ISP resources that provide connectivity allowing users with basic web browser skills to monitor remote equipment. When we say equipment, we mean sensors and actuators, pumps and motors, current loops and dry contacts. We do not mean monitor your web server or CPU usage like so many of the “remote monitoring services”. We monitor things put together with nuts and bolts, things that make noise, and things with horsepower.

Who is LogMyData.Com?

LogMyData.Com is a division of Control Solutions, Inc., Minnesota USA created to support the Device ISP requirements for monitoring “things” via the Internet. Control Solutions manufactures a line of Internet enabled embedded monitoring and control products. Much of the time, these products are used in private intranets. This means our customer has built their own specialized server. We asked ourselves, "How does one go about remote monitoring when you don't have an IT department with the resources to build a custom server?"

Our vision is that signing up for a remote monitoring ISP account should be no more difficult than signing up for an eBay account. LogMyData.Com is working with various resources to realize this vision.
