LogMyData.com Device ISP for remote montioring

The first page to appear when clicking on the Devices tab, when logged in as Account Administrator, is the Diagnostics page. This page shows an overview of site settings, and provides access to certain device management functions.

If data points are configured as control registers, this means you can remotely control the outputs of the device. You can control physical outputs on the monitoring device, or write Modbus registers to remote slaves. To send a new data value to a control register, enter a value, check the box in the first column to indicate which registers are to be affected, and click the Queue Request button. When the device calls in, the new settings will be sent out.

The buttons that appear here will vary by device and by service selections. If the monitoring device does not have GPS, but does have a real time clock, check the Resynchronize box and click Update to reset its time the next time it calls in.

You can force a cellular device to call in now rather than at the end of its next report timeout period by clicking the Connect Now button.

You can cause a manual start/stop of a remote generator by clicking the Start Now and Stop Now buttons. The responsiveness of these buttons will depend on the connection mode the remote monitoring device is currently in.

Click on the Export button to export a CSV file representing the current configuration of a 4th generation monitoring device. This capability is not supported for all device types. The resulting CSV file can be edited using a spread sheet program, converted to XML using an external utility, and loaded into the device offline, or reloaded into the web portal to register changes made.
