Web portal service is priced a la carte to allow choosing the best data plan and best set of options. A typical cellular remote monitoring application including web portal account and service, 1MB/month cellular air time, and 25 SMS messages/month will retail at $49/month. Web portal service is a monthly charge (per monitoring device), billed in advance annually for low volume devices, or billed in advance monthly for high volume devices. We will work with you to estimate your data volume requirements, and help select a data plan that is right for you. In the event your actual usage goes over the preset allocation, you will be billed for additional data. We will also help you decide whether this will be an ongoing concern, and place your device on a different data plan if applicable. The data plans available are set by the cellular carriers (or satellite as applicable).
The various components of a complete package price for monthly service include the following:

Mobile SMS does not apply to wired Internet, but server originated SMS does apply. Air time does not apply to wired Internet. Voice calls, which are optional, apply to all service types.
Service Interruption: Cellular coverage and continuity of service are beyond the immediate control of Control Solutions, Inc. If you are unable to get cellular coverage in your intended area of service, we will, upon return of equipment, refund the full purchase price. Occasional interruption of service does occur due to network maintenance and the like. Refunds for disruption of service will be made only to the extent that refunds are provided by the carrier (such as AT&T Wireless).
